PROLITE AUTOGLO LTD., as we know it today, is a popular and established player in the field of photoluminescent signages and emergency lights.

Today, we live in a day and age when dangers and perils concerned with enclosed spaces have grown and changed greatly since say, two or three decades back. While technology has advanced in the safety and security segment worldwide, PROLITE has always kept in step and brought in modernity and a professional cutting edge in its own product ranges and services.

That is precisely why, PROLITE is not just a national, but a global name when it comes to exigency solutions. Established by entrepreneur and pioneer Harsha Joshi with the guidance and support of his late father H.L. Joshi, the company began its innings way back in 1984-November from a modest 100 sq. ft.  Office & workshop space - and never looked back since.

In 1986, the Joshis got their first office / Unit of 500 sq. ft. and Harsha Joshi’s wife, Alka Joshi joined the family business and went on to become a huge asset and guiding light in the phenomenal growth and transformation of the company.

The family was by no means confined to these two but as of now, the company has 60 odd employees and along with its consultants and dealers have formed one big family which has lifted the fortunes of the company to a dizzy zenith.

The first major victory that the company earned came in 1990 when Prolite got an order for 100 emergency lights from the State bank of India. In 1991 the company started Manufacturing Exit Lights on its own and within a year, got its own factory/manufacturing unit in a 500 sq. ft. space in Goregaon, MUMBAI.

The company began its expansion by appointing distributors-first locally and then across India. By 1994, the company began participating in various exhibitions and seminars to highlight its emergency lights and the move brought fruits. By 1997, the company brought another office in Mumbai.

Prolite formally entered the Photoluminescents  Signage space in 2000 and by 2003, the company purchased space in Wada and set up another manufacturing unit there.

In 2004 Prolite participated in its first overseas exhibition in Germany. The company opened its office in Bangalore in 2009.

Prolite modified its ranges to suit most modern international standards and introduced new products from time to time. In 2005 it started manufacturing conversion kits and battery back modules. In 2013 the company introduced a new range of Flame proof Lights in the market. In 2014 it introduced yet another innovative product in the shape of 1w LED Down Lighters and Autoglo Antiskid was introduced in 2017.

By 2006, Prolite had already started export sales to the Middle East & Europe. By 2010, the company was awarded the prestigious ISO certification and Got CE/ ROHS certificate for its Exit Light product in 2016.

By 2015 the company had opened multiple zonal/Regional offices across in India.

Today, the company has established a robust presence in public and private sectors in India and the demand for its products is growing globally.
